Olde Towne's "Stride for Wellness" Carter's Grove 10K & 5K
Olde Towne's Stride for Wellness at Carter's Grove takes place November 7, 2026 at 101 Mounts Bay Road, Williamsburg VA 23185 (James City County Government Complex). The event uses the old Carter's Grove Country Road, a paved trail, and features multiple distance options on a measured course.
Distances offered:
- 10K (run and race walk) USATF certified and part of the Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix
- 5K run and walk USATF certified course
- 1 Mile Healthy Hike Fun Run, free for participants under 10
Registration opens April 7, 2026. An early-bird discount of $5 applies to registrations completed by September 30, 2026. Fee levels listed by the organizer include $40 for 10K events, $35 for the 5K, and $25 for the 1 Mile event. Online registration closes November 6, 2026 at 12:00pm; in-person registration is available on the morning of the event with a $5 price increase.
Packet pickup is available November 6, 2026 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at Olde Towne Medical & Dental Center, and again the morning of the event beginning at 7:45am. Awards include medals for top overall finishers in the 10K and 5K, top finishers in the 10K race walk, age-group best times for the 10K from 14-and-under through 75-and-over, and best times for boys and girls in the Healthy Hike.
