OLD TOWN RUN CLUB "May the Force be with you" 5K & Kids 1 Miler

Old Town Run Club presents a themed running event at Cameron Run Regional Park in Alexandria, Virginia. The event includes two distances:

Kids 1 Miler

The course runs through wooded sections of the park. Strollers and dogs on leashes are welcome. Participants are encouraged to wear Star Wars themed costumes; prizes will be awarded for best costumes.

Packet pick-up is scheduled at Atlas Brew Works on the day before the event from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. On-site registration and packet pick-up will also be available on the day of the event. Registered participants who signed up before April 17, 2026 will receive a dry-fit short sleeve shirt with a choice of "Empire" (black) or "Rebellion" (olive). Finishers will receive a Light Sword. Race bibs include two vouchers redeemable for pizza and a drink at Atlas Brew Works and Andy’s Pizza.

A post-race celebration will take place at Atlas Brew Works, 2429 Mandeville Lane, Alexandria, with food from Andy’s Pizza and Star Wars team trivia. The event is part of a series supporting the Tunnel to Towers charity; all profits from the event will go to Tunnel to Towers, which supports military personnel and first responders and honors the sacrifice of those who died on September 11, 2001.
