Event Overview
The Old Town Run Club's "May the Force be with you" event features a 5K and a Kids 1 Miler. It will be held at Cameron Run Regional Park in Alexandria, Virginia.
The event has a Star Wars theme to honor National Star Wars Day. There will be costume prizes. The course is described as a wooded run. Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted.
A post-race celebration is scheduled at Atlas Brew Works on Mandeville Lane in Alexandria. Andy's Pizza will be on-site, and there will be Star Wars team trivia with a gift card prize for the winning team.
Package pick-up is available at Atlas Brew Works the day before the event, as well as on-site on race day. Registered participants who sign up by a certain date receive a dry-fit shirt with color choices. All finishers receive a Light Sword. Each race bib includes two vouchers redeemable for pizza and a drink at the post-race venue.
All event profits go to the Tunnel to Towers charity, which supports military, first responders, and their families. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
