The OktoberFest Pumpkin Run & Oktoberfest takes place on 10/11/2026 at Woodward Park - Shizen Group Activity Area, 7775 N Friant Rd, Fresno, CA 93720, US. This is the 8th annual Pumpkin Run and also the 14th race in the CLASSIC Runner of the Year Series, worth 10 points.

The event offers an in-person 5k run/walk on a course decorated with scarecrows and pumpkins. Participants in the in-person event receive a pumpkin to take home. New for this year, beer will be available to celebrate Oktoberfest. Registration for the 5k opens 10/2/2025 and closes 8/4/2026; the registration fee is $40.00.

A virtual run option is offered for the same distance. Virtual runs are completed on each participant’s own schedule and course; virtual participants are not eligible for awards and virtual results are not official. Event shirt and finisher's medal for virtual participants will be mailed automatically within two weeks after the event. Virtual registration opens 10/1/2025 and closes 10/11/2026; the registration fee is $55.00.
