CLOVIS Turkey Day Run
The CLOVIS Turkey Day Run is scheduled for Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Old Town Clovis. The event offers multiple participation options:
- 5k Run/Walk
- 2k Walk (not timed)
- Virtual Turkey Run
- Late Comers 5k (No Shirt No Medal)
The 2k walk is explicitly not timed. A special discounted registration price is available for ages 9 and under. Kids pricing and processing-fee details are listed for in-person events; virtual registration has a separate fee and an end date of November 26, 2026.
Location, services and rules
The event takes place at Centennial Plaza on Pollasky Ave in Old Downtown Clovis. Packet pickup is available the day before the race at Clovis Rodeo Hall (Wednesday, Nov 25) and also on race day. Free parking is provided. The race is held rain or shine and refunds are not offered. Dogs are not allowed; strollers are permitted.
Participants receive a long-sleeve Thanksgiving shirt and a finisher medallion; the design changes yearly. Other listed amenities include hot chocolate, coffee, donuts, age-group awards, a cash prize for the overall winner, costume and "gobble" contests, and charity partnerships with Central Valley Blue Star Moms and Central California Food Bank.
