CLOVIS Turkey Day Run
The CLOVIS Turkey Day Run is held on Pollasky Avenue at Centennial Plaza in Old Town Clovis. The event offers multiple participation options, including:
- 5k Run/Walk
- 2k Walk (not timed)
- Virtual Turkey Run
- Late Comers 5k (No Shirt No Medal)
Packet pickup is available the day before the event at Clovis Rodeo Hall, 748 Rodeo Dr, Clovis, CA, and also on the day of the event at the venue. The event takes place rain or shine and registration terms state no refunds. Dogs are not allowed on the course; strollers are welcome.
Participants receive a finisher medallion and a long sleeve Thanksgiving shirt. Other listed on-site items include hot chocolate, Starbucks coffee, and Krispy Kreme donuts. Awards and contests are part of the event program, with age group awards, an overall winner cash prize, a costume contest, and gobble and spirit contests for groups.
The CLOVIS Turkey Day Run is noted as the second event in the CLASSIC Holiday Run Series and is a 20 point race in the CLASSIC Runner of the Year Series. Charity partners for the event are Central Valley Blue Star Moms and Central California Food Bank. The event is presented by California CLASSIC Cares 501c3.
