Oktoberfest Half Marathon & 5K : Asheville, North Carolina
The event takes place on October 3, 2026, in Asheville, North Carolina. Both races start and finish at Hi-Wire Brewing’s River Arts District Beer Garden, 284 Lyman St. Both courses are USATF certified. New course layouts were plotted in 2025 after damage to the River Arts District in 2024.

- 13.1 km (Half Marathon)
- 5 km (5K)
Included with registration are a finisher medal, a short-sleeved technical t-shirt, a collectible race bib, chip timing, and a post-race beverage (Hi-Wire beer option for participants 21+ or a nonalcoholic option). There is a 3-hour aid limit on the half marathon course and a 1-hour aid limit on the 5K course; runners will still be timed beyond those limits. A virtual option is available that includes mailed race shirt, bib, and medal; virtual participants are not eligible for awards. Group discounts apply for groups of five or more registering together. The organizer has a no-refund policy; transfers and virtual conversions are allowed up to the stated cutoff dates.
