Oktoberfest 5k at Prost Brewing Company, Northglenn
The Oktoberfest 5k is a community running event on September 26, 2026, that starts and ends at Prost Brewing Company in Northglenn, Colorado. The event is presented by the Colorado Brewery Running Series and combines a neighborhood course with brewery festivities.
This is an untimed, fun run held on an open course; roads will not be closed so participants are responsible for obeying traffic laws. The route is created to showcase the surrounding neighborhood and will be marked with arrows and staffed by volunteers.
All participants receive one free Prost craft beer or a nonalcoholic beverage at the finish line and an Oktoberfest 5k finisher medal. There is a chance to win prizes such as Brewery Running Series merchandise or beer to take home. Event activities include live music, games, vendor merchandise and seasonal items available for purchase.
Additional information notes that registration is limited by taproom capacity, there is no bag check, and dogs and strollers are permitted on course with care and caution. A portion of proceeds supports local nonprofits. Public parking is available and public transit may be an option.
