Event Details
The Oktoberfest Races are held on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in Mount Angel, Oregon. The event offers two distances: a 10k run and a 5k run/walk. Both start and finish on the Kennedy High School track.
Course Information
The routes travel through the town of Mount Angel and include sections on both road and gravel surfaces. The terrain is described as mostly flat with some hills. A new 10k course is planned for the year.
Registration & Logistics
Packet pickup and day-of registration are available on race day at the Kennedy High School track starting at 7:00 AM. Registration closes at 8:45 AM. For the 10k, a minimum pace of 15:00 per mile is requested as the course officially closes at 10:30 AM. Strollers are permitted but must line up at the back. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
Finisher Perks & Beneficiary
All finishers receive a pint glass and a ticket for a complimentary beer at the Mt. Angel Oktoberfest. Proceeds from the races support track and cross country programs at Kennedy, Silverton, and Gervais middle and high schools. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
