Oklahoma City Trail Running Festival
The Oklahoma City Trail Running Festival is a single day trail running event held in Guthrie, Oklahoma (7413 S Academy Rd, 73044). Races use a shared course network built on natural trail terrain, with dirt underfoot and varying elevation. Courses may occasionally use gravel or pavement but remain trail-based.
Distances offered at this location include:
- 5K (3 Miles)
- 15K (9 Miles)
- 15K RUCK (9 Miles, ruck category)
- 35K (21 Miles)
- 50K (31 Miles)
All participants receive a Trail Running Festival soft T-shirt and a finisher medal. 50K finishers receive a 50K Trail Running Festival finisher medal. Ruck finishers receive a Trail Running Festival RUCK patch. The top male and female with the fastest time in each distance receive a 1st Place award. The last place finisher of the 50K receives the DFL "Dead Freakin' Last" award.
The event is cupless: aid stations provide water, hydration, and snacks but participants must carry their own bottle or hydration system. A water carrying system is required for all events. Ruck weight requirements are 30 lb for participants over 150 lbs and 20 lb for those under 150 lbs. Crew and spectator access is available. Parking must be in designated spaces. Other rules include notifying the race director if a participant drops, no littering, and no cutting the course.
