Event Overview
The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon takes place annually during the last weekend of April in downtown Oklahoma City. The event spans multiple days, featuring a Health & Fitness Expo, several races, and associated activities.
Races Offered
The event includes six different race distances and categories:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- Quarter Marathon
- 5K
- Kids Marathon
- Senior Marathon
There is also a "Why We Run Bundle" challenge option where participants can run races on both Saturday and Sunday.
Weekend Schedule
The event begins on Friday with the Health & Fitness Expo at the Oklahoma City Convention Center. The expo offers early bib pickup for Senior Marathon participants. The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum offers free admission to participants throughout the weekend.
Saturday features the 5K, Senior Marathon, and Kids Marathon events. The expo remains open.
Sunday is the main race day, with simultaneous starts for the Marathon, Half Marathon, and Quarter Marathon, as well as a wheelchair division. A gear check service is provided on race morning, and a Finish Line Festival is held at Scissortail Park.

An official mobile app is available for runners, providing an interactive course map, hydration station locations, personalized scheduling, and real-time tracking. The event's mission is to celebrate life, honor the memories of those killed in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, and unite people in hope.
