Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon

The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is a multi-day running event held in downtown Oklahoma City on the last weekend in April. Its stated mission is to celebrate life, reach for the future, honor the memories of those killed in the 1995 bombing, and unite the community in hope. Proceeds benefit the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum.

Event weekend includes a Health & Fitness Expo at the Oklahoma City Convention Center, a Finish Line Festival in Scissortail Park with food trucks and live music, and public memorial activities such as a sunrise service under the Survivor Tree, a runner’s mass, and a Blessing of the Shoes. The Memorial Museum opens to visitors during the weekend; race bibs or registration confirmation provide free admission.

Race-day operations include gear check (clear bag policy) and corral staging on Harvey Avenue in front of the Memorial Museum between 6th and 10th Streets; entry to a corral requires a bib and only pre-approved service dogs are allowed. An official event app offers an interactive course map showing hydration stations and mile markers, real-time runner tracking, and personalized schedules.
