Okefenokee Swamp Run
The Okefenokee Swamp Run takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Okefenokee Swamp Park in Waycross, Georgia. The event includes two races held within the park and offers free park access for participants on race day.

The course is mostly a dirt, trail-style route that begins and ends inside the park. The route passes through natural terrain with wide-open scenery, abundant wildlife, and generally easy-to-navigate footing. Indoor bathrooms are available at the start and finish inside the park.
Each 10k participant receives an iron gray performance-wicking t-shirt with the event design. Each 1 Mile participant receives a neon yellow performance-wicking t-shirt with the event design. The event is presented as the 49th Annual Swamp Run and is noted as one of the longest continuously running races in South Georgia.
Proceeds benefit Okefenokee Swamp Park, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on stewardship, education, and outdoor recreation in and around the Okefenokee.
