8th Annual OKC Brain Tumor Walk and 5K Fun Run
The 8th Annual OKC Brain Tumor Walk and 5K (approximately 3.1 miles) Fun Run is a community fundraising and awareness event held at Stars and Stripes Park in Oklahoma City on September 12, 2026. The event supports brain tumor-specific programs and is supported by the National Brain Tumor Society.
The event brings together individuals and teams to honor and remember people affected by brain tumors, to connect with others involved in the cause, and to share information with the local community about the needs of the brain tumor community. Top team and top individual fundraisers will be acknowledged.
The event takes place rain or shine. Participants are advised to consider layered clothing, wind breakers, sunglasses, and sunscreen. All registrants must check in at the registration tent; new participants may register at the same tent on the day of the event. Donations should be brought to the registration tent.
Teams may use the designated Tent City area and are asked to bring a tent and chairs. Restrictions in Tent City include no staking, no BBQ, and no alcohol. Refreshments will be available, and participants may bring a cooler or pack a lunch.
