Event overview
The Oilman Texas Triathlon is a multi-event triathlon weekend held in Montgomery, Texas. The event is scheduled for November 7-8, 2026 and is described as the 23rd edition. Location and course
All race activities start and finish at Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe, 600 Margaritaville Parkway, Montgomery, TX 77356. The long distance course includes a lake swim in Lake Conroe, a bike route through Montgomery County, and a run that starts and ends at the resort. The Saturday events use a mix of roads and golf cart paths and share the same transition and finish area as Sunday.
Distances and age categories
- Half distance: 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run.
- Sprint: 500 meter swim, 11 mile bike, 5 km run.
- Island Time 5K: 5 km run.
- Youth duathlon Parakeets: ages 4-10.
- Youth duathlon Parrots: ages 10-15.
