Oilman Texas Triathlon

The Oilman Texas Triathlon is a multi-sport event taking place over a weekend in November in Montgomery, Texas. It is hosted at the Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe.

The event includes multiple races across two days. On Sunday, the main event is a half iron distance triathlon with a 1.2 mile swim in Lake Conroe, a 56 mile bike ride in Montgomery County, and a 13.1 mile run. Also on Sunday is a sprint triathlon with a 500 meter swim, 11 mile bike, and 5k run through the resort's neighborhoods and golf course.

Saturday features a 5k run, youth duathlons for different age groups, and a sprint triathlon. There is also a separate "5 O'Clock Somewhere Fun Tri," which is described as a triathlon-themed pool party for resort guests and day pass holders.
