Oh My Guad! 5K Beer Run
The Oh My Guad! 5K Beer Run takes place on October 3, 2026 at Guadalupe Brewing Company, 1586 Wald Rd, New Braunfels, TX. The event is the eighth annual edition and is organized as a timed 5K running race.
Proceeds from the event will benefit SJRC Texas and U.S. Navy Sea Cadets. Costumes are encouraged and the event highlights themed attire including tutus and hats. There is a prize for the Most Unique Hat, and participants who wear a hat receive a Guadalupe Brewing commemorative poker chip or golf ball marker.
Entry fees vary by registration period, with early pricing in June and increased fees in subsequent months up to race day. Event shirts are limited; registration by Monday, September 14 is listed as the deadline to guarantee a shirt. Early packet pick-up and on-site registration are available on October 1 and 2 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and packets will also be available on race morning.
Timing and results are managed by RaceTimerz, LLC. The race uses reusable RFID shoe tags for timing; participants are requested to wear their bibs on the front, pinned at four corners, visible and unaltered. Results will be available at an on-site results kiosk and through RaceTimerz. Awards are planned for overall and masters male and female, top three in age groups, and a Top Dog award for participating dogs and their registered owners.
