Bigfoot Classic San Antonio
The Bigfoot Classic at Northeast Lakeview College in Live Oak Texas is a multi distance running event held on park and green belt trails. Course surfaces include paved trail crushed granite and occasional dirt paths. Aid stations are provided on course and a race rally tent offers snacks and drinks for finishers.
Distances offered include:
- Kids Dash about 50 meters for ages 10 and under not timed includes tee shirt medal and recognition pin
- 1 Mile not chip timed includes tee shirt and race medal
- 5K 3.11 miles chip timed with overall trophies masters recognition pins and age group awards
- 10K 6.22 miles chip timed with overall trophies masters recognition pins and age group awards
- 15K 9.33 miles chip timed with overall trophies masters recognition pins and age group awards
- Virtual Run 9.33 miles
- Quarter Marathon 6.55 miles
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles
- Volunteer then Run 5K chip timed limited to first 10 participants
All finishers receive a medal and shirt. Packet pickup is offered on race morning and results and awards are available at the registration tent after runners finish. A costume contest judged by crowd vote awards a Legendary Beast trophy a prize pack and a free entry to a future event. A DJ will provide music and runners will be announced during the event.
