OG 5K Run/Walk
OG 5K Run/Walk is a 5K running and walking event held at Belmont Lake State Park in West Babylon, NY 11704. The event listing shows registration as not yet open for the next edition; a previous edition took place on May 24, 2026.
The event is organized by OG Training Academy, which also runs group fitness classes and a Sunday morning run club that is free to join and open to the public.
All participants receive a personalized bib if they register three weeks in advance. Participants are eligible for awards, refreshments, free finish line photos, a fully marked 5K route, and live online results. There is no formal bag check; an informal area for race belongings is provided in the staging area. Attendees should expect a parking fee upon entry to the park.
Awards include a One Month OG Unlimited Membership for the top overall male and female, and a race medal for the top male and female in multiple age groups, including 16 and under through 70 plus.
Bib pickup is handled in person by event staff; registrants registered three weeks in advance are eligible for personalized bibs. Last-minute registrants within 24 hours can receive a bib number by text. Virtual participants can compete during the stated virtual window from 5/24 to 5/31 and virtual bibs are mailed the Monday prior with 3 to 5 days for delivery.
Public park restrooms are located near the finish area, and hydration stations are provided at the halfway point and at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
