OG 5K Run/Walk
The OG 5K Run/Walk is a timed 5K event held at Belmont Lake State Park in West Babylon, NY. The event is organized by OG Training Academy and includes both an in-person race and a virtual option that can be completed during a multi-day window.
All registered participants receive a personalized bib if they register at least three weeks in advance. The course is fully marked and finish-line services include refreshments, free finish-line photos, and live online results. Hydration stations are provided at the halfway mark and at the finish. Public park restrooms are located near the finish area. There is no formal bag check; an informal area for belongings is provided in the staging area, and the organizer does not assume responsibility for personal items. Note that a parking fee is charged upon entry to the park.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers, and age-group medals are awarded across standard age brackets including 16 & under through 70+. Bib pickup is available in person on race day; registrants who sign up close to the event can receive bib information by text.
