OG 5K Run/Walk 2027
OG 5K Run/Walk is listed for 2027 at Belmont Lake State Park in West Babylon, NY. Registration for the 2027 event is not yet open. The previous edition took place on May 24, 2026 and included a free kids fun run.
The event format is a 5K run or walk with a separate kids fun run. The 5K course is fully marked. Hydration stations are available at the halfway mark and at the finish. A public park bathroom is located near the finish line in the building by the parking lot. There is a parking fee upon entry.
All participants receive refreshments and free finish line photos. Participants who register at least three weeks in advance receive a personalized bib. Bib numbers are required for pickup. Last minute registrants within 24 hours receive their bib number by text. Virtual bibs are mailed the Monday prior with a 3 to 5 day delivery allowance.
Awards include One Month OG Unlimited Membership for the top overall male and female, and medals for top finishers in the listed age groups from 16 and under through 70 plus. The event offers live online results and a virtual competition window listed as 5/24 to 5/31. No formal bag check is provided; an informal area to leave belongings is present in the staging area.
