OCR OVERLOAD - January (Sat January 17, 2026)
The event takes place in Gainesvile, FL 32609 US. It includes multiple race options on the same day: an obstacle course run, a timed ninja sprint, a 5-mile trail run, and a volunteer race. Packet pickup is provided and athletes receive an OCR OVERLOAD bib and a timing strap that must be worn on the ankle and returned after finishing.

Course, obstacles and aid
The main OCR course is listed as 4.3 miles with more than 23 obstacles and a 140-foot finisher rig. Terrain features include mud holes, light swamps, muddy streams, rolling pine forest, and fields with cow patties. The event notes new obstacles for 2025. Water stops are provided: two water stops on the 5-mile trail run and three water stations on the OCR course at heavy carry obstacles.
Competition rules, awards and facilities
Elite athletes must achieve 100% obstacle completion to be eligible for Florida Championship Series points and for podium placement. Elite prize tiers are listed by field size: for 0-50 elites the top three prizes are $200, $150 and $100; for 51-100 elites they are $400, $200 and $150. Open waves have no penalties for failed obstacles. Race swag is available at the finish line. On-site amenities include a hose shower station, food vendor, and beer and wine for participants over 21. Parking is listed as $10 cash only. Volunteer shifts are four-hour blocks with a reduced race fee or an option to donate to a group. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
