US Road Running - Gainesville
The Eagle 5K & 10K is a running event part of the US Road Running race series held in Gainesville, Florida. The event offers two primary distances:
- 5K
- 10K
The course is designed as an out-and-back route measuring 1.56 miles in total. For the 5K distance, participants complete this course two times. Those participating in the 10K distance complete the course four times. A course time limit of 2 hours is in place for all participants.
Registration is managed through the RunSignup platform and must be completed prior to the event. There is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is conducted on the morning of the race, starting 30 minutes before the event and concluding 10 minutes before the start.
All finishers receive a medal upon completing their distance. The event also includes a costume component, where runners are encouraged to wear costumes, and a group photograph is taken at the start.
