Ocean State Ultra - West Greenwich, Rhode Island
The Ocean State Ultra is a multi event ultramarathon held August 29 to August 30, 2026, in West Greenwich, Rhode Island. The event offers multiple timed categories and runs on a repeated 10 mile loop with no out and back sections.

The 10 mile loop includes 1.5 miles of desert terrain, 1 mile of pavement, and 7.5 miles of trails through the Big River Management Area. The loop shows an elevation gain of about 430 ft per loop and is described as minimally technical and relatively flat compared to more technical trail courses.
Aid and support include two fully stocked aid stations and two unmanned hydration stations. The main aid station is at the start and finish area and a secondary food station is near the five mile mark at Hell's Half Acre. Hydration stations are located at the Burnt Sawmill Trailhead and at the New London Turnpike parking area. All aid stations are nut free.
Start and finish are at West Greenwich Sand Dunes, 145-151 Division Rd. Offsite parking is provided at Hopkins Hill Road Park and Ride and at 92 New London Turnpike with shuttle service to the race site. No on course tents are allowed; participants may set up tables near the start area. All races are chip timed and results are posted on RunSignup and UltraSignup. Every participant receives a finisher sweatshirt and 100 mile finishers receive a finisher buckle. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
