Ocean Park 5K and Kids Fun Run

The Ocean Park Association organizes an annual running event that includes a 5K road race and a separate Kids Fun Run. The 5K follows a flat course through towering pines and along beach roads, passes local cottages and spectators, continues down Mass Ave and Randall, and finishes in the town square. Post race activities take place at the bandstand in OP Square and include awards for age bracket finishers. Cash prizes are offered for elite runners who break the course records.

The Temple serves as the event hub and is available before the race for bib pickup and Kids Fun Run sign-up. Registration options include in person at the Ocean Park Association office, by mail, or online. Preregistration carries a fee of $35 and closes on Wednesday, July 22. Day of race registration is $40. Kids Fun Run registration is $5 without a t-shirt or $20 with a t-shirt while supplies last. Event proceeds support the Ocean Park Association.
