49th Annual Oatmeal Festival : 3.3 mile Run for Your Oats
The event is a 3.3 mile road run held in Bertram, Texas as part of the Oatmeal Festival. The start and finish are located at 110 East Vaughan Street, Bertram, TX 78605. The run is organized with age-group categories, entry fees, and awards; the top three in each category receive medals and first place receives oatmeal.
Online registration is open until Friday, September 25, 2026 at 5:15 PM CT; registrants who register online by that deadline are guaranteed a complimentary t-shirt. Packet pickup and in-person registration are available the evening before at 163 West Vaughan Street (next to the Globe Theater by the Bertram Fire Department); packet pickup provides the complimentary t-shirt, chip-timed bib number, safety pins, and energy bars. Onsite race-day registration is available at the start/finish line with a late fee and no guaranteed t-shirt.
Proceeds benefit local high school students through college scholarships and community outreach initiatives. The run is presented by the Oatmeal Festival sponsors. A family-day program follows the run and includes arts and crafts booths, food and drink vendors, a pet parade, Grande Parade, an oatmeal-themed baking contest, a washer tournament, BBQ, live music and entertainment, kids activities, games, and an evening street dance.
