49th Annual Oatmeal Festival 3.3 mile Run for Your Oats

Online registration closes Friday, September 25, 2026 at 5:15 PM CT; registrants who complete online registration by that time are guaranteed a complimentary t-shirt. Packet pickup and in-person registration occur Friday, September 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at 163 West Vaughan Street, next to the Globe Theater by the Bertram Fire Department. At packet pickup participants receive a complimentary t-shirt, a chip timed bib number, safety pins, and free energy bars.
A $5.00 late fee applies for late run registration and a t-shirt is not guaranteed in that case. Onsite registration and packet pickup are also open Saturday, September 26 from 7:00 to 7:50 AM at the start and finish location with a $10.00 late fee and no guaranteed complimentary t-shirt.
The event lists age and gender categories with medals for the top three in each category and oatmeal for first place in each category. Festival activities the same day include arts and crafts booths, food and drink vendors, pet parade, grande parade, an oatmeal themed baking contest, washer tournament, BBQ, live music and entertainment, kids activities, games, and an evening street dance.
