Course and logistics
The course uses a clockwise loop system on Pace Bend Park trails. The main loop is about 13.1 miles with a 5k shortcut; terrain includes rocks, roots, hard-packed trail, exposed granite sections, and occasional lake views. Course markings include caution tape, arrows, and confidence markers; signs at intersections show distance options. Chip timing is used and results show gun and chip times. Pacers are allowed after two full loops; runners aged 60 and older may have a pacer for the whole race.
Support and policies
Staffed aid stations will offer water, ice, Tailwind, electrolytes, and snacks at key locations; some unstaffed stations provide basic supplies. The event is cupless - runners should bring a cup or bottle; collapsible cups are available for purchase at packet pickup. Drop bags may be placed at the start/finish area and at a designated gate location; the race does not deliver or retrieve drop bags. The event enforces Leave No Trace rules and disallows littering.
