Each full lap has roughly 897 feet of elevation gain and loss. Trails include rocks, roots, and hard-packed surfaces; parts of the route offer lake views and both zero-entry and rocky cliff-edge shorelines. The finish arch is placed close to Lake Travis when possible.
Course markings include orange caution tape, yellow arrows, and confidence markers; reflective markings are used when needed. Aid station support includes Grab N Go snacks and water at Mudd and Well Rd, plus Start/Finish support. Drop bag locations: Abby Rd, Croton, Pancho, and Start/Finish (Mudd). Races are chip timed with ankle-worn chips; pacers are not allowed. Overall awards: Top 3 and Top Master (50+) for male and female per distance. The youth run is untimed and awards a finisher medal. Runners’ park day use fees are handled through registration; spectators pay park fees. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
