Bear King Brewing Co. 5K
The Bear King Brewing Co. 5K is an event held in Marble Falls, Texas, starting and finishing at the local brewery. The route leads through the neighborhood streets adjacent to the venue. The course is accessible for individuals using strollers and for participants who prefer to walk. This race serves as the eleventh event in the Run in Texas 5K 6-Pack Challenge and benefits The Ark of Highland Lakes.
Participants in the 5K event receive a performance fabric race T-shirt and a custom finisher glass. Following the run, attendees can access up to four 8-oz tastings (or two pints) of beer at the serving area. The event provides a supported and marked course with free race photos made available online after the activity concludes. Food trucks are present on-site for those wishing to purchase food after the run.
Awards are presented to the top male and female finishers overall and in the master category for those aged 40 and older. Age group awards are also provided for the top three male and female finishers in various brackets ranging from 19 and under up to 70 and over. Additionally, the event includes random drawings for souvenir prizes conducted after the competitive award ceremony.
Packet pickup is available at the brewery on the Friday before the event and on the morning of the race. Parking is located at the nearby courthouse on a first-come, first-served basis, with additional legal parking situated near the brewery premises.
