OARC Shapinsay 10K Event
The OARC Shapinsay 10K takes place on 18 April 2026 on Shapinsay, Orkney. The starting point and registration are at Shapinsay Community School, Shapinsay, Orkney KW17 2DY.
The event is a 10 km race run over a route made up of local roads. It is held under the Rules and Regulations of the sport's governing body, Scottish Athletics Federation, and the organisers have a permit to hold the race.
Entry costs are £10 for standard entry and £8 for holders of SA membership. A discounted entry price applies until 12 April 2026 23:59. Online entry closes Sunday 12 April 2026. A service fee of 4 percent (minimum 50p) applies to each sign-up. No refunds will be given unless the race is cancelled.
Runners must be over 15 years old on the day. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs. Running with buggies or pets is not permitted.
