Oakville Remembrance Trail Run
The Oakville Remembrance Trail Run is an annual trail event held in Lions Valley that honours veterans, first responders, and their families while raising funds for Wounded Warriors Canada. The 2026 edition is the event's second annual run and takes place on November 7, 2026.
Routes follow local trails through Lions Valley and are offered in two distances:
- 11 km route
- 5 km route
The start and finish are located at Upper Middle Park in Oakville. Early run kit pickup is planned at Neyagawa Park with date and time to be confirmed; kit pickup will also be available on event day. The event proceeds support Wounded Warriors Canada. The event operates rain or shine; participants are advised to dress for cool or wet conditions. There will be an unsupervised bag drop on site and the organizers note that they cannot guarantee the safety of belongings. Parking details are to be confirmed. Volunteer sign-up information will be provided when available.
