Oaklawn Color Classic 5k & Fun Run, Marshall MI
The Oaklawn Color Classic is a community running and walking event held on June 5, 2027, at 107 N. Park Ave, Marshall, MI 49068. The event uses colored powder along the route; the powder is made from cornstarch, food dyes and baking soda and is 100% FD&C and/or D&C approved.

Registration opens December 31, 2026 and closes June 5, 2027. Entry is limited to the first 1,000 registered participants. The registration fee listed for each event is $45.00. Participants who register by May 14 are guaranteed a commemorative T-shirt. The first 750 racers to cross the finish line will receive a participation medal.
Registered participants receive a commemorative T-shirt, a neck gaiter, and beverage ware distributed after the run at Dark Horse Brewing Company, 511 S. Kalamazoo Ave., Marshall, MI. Pint glasses are available for the first 600 adults and color changing cups for the first 400 children; distribution is first come first served. A post-race party is scheduled at Dark Horse Brewing Company. Race bib presentation is required to claim the drink special and the commemorative pint glass or cup.
