Oaklawn Color Classic 5k

Event Overview
The Oaklawn Color Classic is a color run event with two distances: a 5K walk & run and a 1 mile fun run. Participants are doused in colored powder along the route. The event is limited to the first 1,000 registered participants.
Included Items
Participants receive a commemorative t-shirt, a neck gaiter, a participation medal, and a commemorative pint glass for adults or a color-changing cup for kids. The shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed by May 12th. The pint glass and cup are available for the first 600 adults and 400 kids, respectively, and can be picked up after the run at the Dark Horse Brewing Company.
Post-Race Party
A post-race party is held at the Dark Horse Brewing Company (511 S. Kalamazoo Ave., Marshall, MI). Racers can use their bib to claim a drink special.
Pricing and Registration
The standard registration fee is $45 for adults aged 19 and over. Children aged 5 and under race for free. A discounted rate of $25 applies for ages 6-18. A group discount of $5 off per registrant is available for groups of six or more when registering together.
Packet Pickup
Early packet pickup is available on Friday, June 5th, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Oaklawn Hospital Main Lobby (200 North Madison Street). Same-day pickup begins at 9 AM at the registration tents.
Additional Notes
The colored powder is made from cornstarch, food dyes, and baking soda, and all materials are FD&C and/or D&C approved. Online registration is available through the day of the event, but no on-site computers will be available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
