Event
The Oakadoke Trail Runs take place on August 1, 2026, at Twin Creeks Farm, 2251 Clifford Rd, Valparaiso, IN. The event is organized by Trailblazer Running. Distances offered include:
- 18 Mile - two laps of the main loop
- 9 Mile - one full loop through the trails
- 4 Mile - roughly half the main loop, out to the Salt Creek section
Registration opens March 21, 2026. The event includes a post-race gathering.
Course and policies
The course uses Creekside Trails and features tree-covered single-track, winding switchbacks, views of farmland, multiple bridge crossings over a creek, and uneven surfaces with frequent ups and downs. It is a Midwest trail course without mountains.
Race divisions accept an entrant’s declared gender as Male, Female, or Non-Binary, and participants may indicate desired pronouns during registration. Every finisher receives a custom award. The top three male and top three female finishers at each distance receive podium awards in addition to finisher awards; there is no additional podium awarding in the non-binary category at this time.
Youth pricing is available for runners 19 and under, with set registration fees for the 4M and 9M distances. The Trail Mix Fund can waive registration fees for eligible runners. Participants who become pregnant after registering or who have a recent newborn or adopted child may defer their entry for up to two years by contacting the race management.
