Course Details
The Oakadoke Trail Runs take place on the Creekside Trails in Valparaiso, Indiana. The start and finish line is at Twin Creeks Farm on Clifford Road. The course features tree-covered single-track trails, winding switchbacks, views of farmland, and multiple bridges over a creek. The terrain includes many ups and downs, twists, turns, and uneven surfaces.
Race Distances
The event offers three trail running distances:
- 18 Mile: Two full loops of the main trail.
- 9 Mile: One full loop of the main trail.
- 4 Mile: A shorter route that splits the main loop.
Event Policies
The organizer, Trailblazer Running, has several participant-focused policies. Runners can register in male, female, or non-binary gender categories. Every finisher receives a custom award, with additional podium awards for the top three male and female finishers in each distance.
Special discounted registration is available for runners aged 19 and under. A fund exists to waive entry fees for runners who cannot afford them.
