OADAY 5K / Remembrance Walk
OADAY 5K / Remembrance Walk takes place on August 29, 2026 at South County Regional Park, 670 Cooper St, Punta Gorda, FL 33950. The event offers multiple participation options:
- 3.1 miles Overdose Awareness 5K
- 1 mile Remembrance Walk
- Virtual Remembrance Walk
Registration details are published for each event. Listed entry fees include a base 5K registration fee of $25.00, a 1 mile remembrance walk fee of $30.00, and a virtual walk fee of $38.50. Day of registration is listed at $45.00. A reduced fee of $20.00 applies for children under 14; club discounts apply at checkout but do not apply to the kids rate. All registrations are online only and no cash is accepted. Registration closes 15 minutes before each event begins.
The event uses chip timing with the start and finish at the same location. Early packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, August 27 with final details to be announced; packet pickup is also available at the race location on event day. Apparel options include a Sport Tek tee that is not guaranteed three weeks before the event and a Sport Tek tank available for an additional $5.
Awards are given for overall male and female, Masters 40 plus, Grandmaster 50 plus, Senior Grandmaster 60 plus, and Veterans 70 plus. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in male and female age groups: under 8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 and over.
