OADAY 5K / Remembrance Walk
The event takes place at South County Regional Park, 670 Cooper St, Punta Gorda, Florida, on August 29, 2026. It combines an in-person 5K run/walk, a 1 mile remembrance walk, and a virtual remembrance walk option.

- 5K (3.1 miles), Overdose Awareness 5K
- 1 Mile, Remembrance Walk
- Virtual Remembrance Walk, virtual participation option
Registration details and fees are included for each option: 5K registration from $25, 1 Mile from $30, virtual from $38.50, and a day-of registration fee of $45. Children under 14 register from $20 and are not eligible for running club discounts. Running club discounts are applied at checkout. All registrations are online only; no cash is accepted on site.
Early packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, August 27 with details to be announced. Race day packet pickup takes place at the park.
Chip timing is used and the course has the same start and finish location. A route map is available from the organizer. Awards are given by gender and age categories including Overall, Masters 40 plus, Grandmaster 50 plus, Senior Grandmaster 60 plus, and Veterans 70 plus. Medals are awarded to the top three in each listed age group for both male and female competitors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
