OADAY 5K / REMEMBRANCE WALK
This event is organized by Charlotte Re-Entry Initiative (CRI) and Polly’s Promise at South County Regional Park, 670 Cooper St, Punta Gorda, FL. It combines an in-person 5K run/walk, a 1-mile remembrance walk, and a virtual remembrance option.

Registration details vary by event. Registration opened on 2027-02-10. Entry fees listed by the organizer include $25.00 for the 5K, $30.00 for the 1-mile walk, $38.50 for the virtual option, day-of registration at $45.00, and a kids rate under 14 at $20.00. Running club discounts apply at checkout; club discounts do not apply to the kids rate. All registrations are online only and no cash is accepted. Registration closes 15 minutes before each race.
Event logistics note chip timing with the start and finish at the same location. Race day packet pickup begins at 6:10 am at the park and early packet pickup is to be determined. Day-of registration opens the morning of the event. Sport Tek apparel options are offered; a tank is available for an extra $5 and a tee is not guaranteed within three weeks of the event.
Awards include overall and age-category recognitions: M/F Overall, Masters (40+), Grandmaster (50+), Senior Grandmaster (60+), Veterans (70+), and medals to the top three M/F in age groups under 8; 9-10; 11-12; 13-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; and 80 and over.
