NYS Parks Summer Run Series 2026
The NYS Parks Summer Run Series is a multi-race series held at New York State park locations. The series includes organized runs at eight park locations, wheelchair-accessible races, Kids Fun Runs on select dates, post-race refreshments, T-shirts, and raffles for participants.
Registration is offered in two tiers. Tier 1 covers all eight races for an individual fee and has a participant limit. Tier 2 covers four specified races for a lower fee and has a smaller participant limit. Online registration is available until events sell out; no in-person registration is offered. Race fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Packet pickup is mandatory and takes place prior to the first race at Long Island State Park Headquarters in West Babylon on the scheduled pickup days. Kids Fun Runs occur on selected race dates with free same-day registration at the event Show Mobile.
Per-race awards include age-group placements and medallions for wheelchair racers. A Grand Prix scoring series runs across designated races with points awarded by placement and additional bonus points for overall finishes. Course maps are provided for each race location. The series prohibits baby joggers, rollerbladers, bikers, dogs, and skaters on the racecourse.
