Run to the Verrazzano 4 Miler NSRF
The Run to the Verrazzano is a 4-mile out-and-back race that starts and finishes at the American Veterans Memorial Pier in Brooklyn. The course runs along the shore near the Verrazzano Narrows Bridge, with a turnaround that provides a clear view of the bridge and photo opportunities. The site is on Munsee Lenape/Canarsie lands at Veterans Pier, Shore Rd & Bay Ridge Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11209.
Race amenities include an informal bag check area in the staging zone, bathrooms a few minutes' walk from the start and finish, and hydration provided at the finish. High-quality refreshments are supplied by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Participants receive an Abridge tee.
Bib options: in-person bib pickup is available on the day of the event, or a bib can be mailed for a $10 fee if registration occurs at least 10 days before the race. Virtual participants may compete remotely, have a full week to log a time and submit up to five photos, and will have items shipped beginning on the first day of the event; shipping may take several days for late sign-ups.
Age-group recognition is offered for Top 1 Overall M/F/X and for top finishers in age categories from 14 & under through 90+. One hundred percent of donations benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports athletic and charitable events and athlete development.
