Run to the Verrazzano 4 Miler NSRF
This is an out and back 4 miler on the Brooklyn boardwalk, with start and finish at the American Veterans Memorial Pier. The course follows the shore near the Verrazzano Narrows Bridge and includes a turnaround with a view of the bridge.
Amenities listed for participants include an informal bag check area, bathrooms a few minutes' walk from the start and finish, hydration at the finish line, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Participants receive a bridge tee.
There is a virtual participation option. Virtual competitors have from the first day of the event and a full week to log a time and submit up to five photos; event items begin shipping the first day of the event. Bibs can be mailed for a fee of $10 if registered at least ten days in advance, or picked up in person from event staff on the day of the event. For mailed virtual bibs, shipping begins the Monday prior and may take three to five days when registering late.
Age group recognition is awarded to the top overall finishers M/F/X and to the top finisher in each listed age group: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90 plus.
