NSRF Run to the Verrazzano 4 Miler
The event is a 4 mile out and back run along the Brooklyn boardwalk near the Verrazzano Narrows Bridge. The course starts and finishes at the American Veterans Memorial Pier located at Shore Road and Bay Ridge Avenue in Brooklyn, NY 11209. The turnaround offers a clear view of the bridge and a photo opportunity.
There are both in person and virtual participation options. Virtual participants can upload results during the event window and may receive race items by mail; a virtual entry option includes a shirt and name on the bib. Bib mailing is available for an additional fee if requested within the stated registration timeframe. Pacers are provided to guide participants toward 4 mile personal records. Participants receive a race tee.
Onsite amenities include an informal bag check area, bathrooms within a short walk of the start and finish, finish line hydration, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Age group recognition is awarded to top finishers overall and in multiple age categories for female, male, and non binary divisions. Registration fees are non refundable and not transferable. Donations collected benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501 c 3 organization that supports athletic and charitable events and athlete development.
