Run to the Verrazzano 4 Miler NSRF
The event is an out and back 4 Miler along the Brooklyn boardwalk, starting and finishing at the American Veterans Memorial Pier. The turnaround provides a view of the Verrazzano Narrows Bridge and a photo opportunity. The site is on Munsee Lenape / Canarsie lands at Veterans Pier, Shore Rd & Bay Ridge Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11209.
Participants receive an Abridge tee. Organizers provide informal bag check space; bathrooms are a few minutes' walk from the start and finish. Hydration is available at the finish line, and refreshments are supplied by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water.
A virtual participation option allows registrants to log a time during the event window and upload up to five photos; event items begin shipping on the first day of the event. Bib delivery options include in-person pickup from event staff shortly before the event or mail delivery for a $10 fee if registered at least 10 days in advance. Mailed bibs for virtual participants are sent beginning the Monday prior and may take 3-5 days after late registration.
Age group recognition is offered for top finishers: Top 1 Overall M/F/X and Top 1 in each age group including 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90 plus.
