NYCRUNS Frozen Pigeon 5K : Overview

Course, festival and access
The Festival Area is located in the Nethermead and can be reached via Center Drive or the walking paths off Well House Drive. Start corrals use a pace-based system (letters AA-F) and are located on Well House Drive; corral assignment is printed on participants’ bibs and is based on the pace entered in the NYCRUNS Dashboard. Mass transit is recommended: nearby subway stops include Prospect Park (S, Q) and 15th St-Prospect Park (F, G); local buses include the B68 and B16. Citi Bike stations are at Prospect Park Southwest/16th St. and Lincoln Rd./Ocean Ave. Parking is limited; 101 Prospect Park Southwest is the suggested drop-off point.
Race services and rules
On-course hydration and electrolyte fluids are provided; cans of smartwater will be available at the finish. Portable bathrooms, bag check (single clear bag required, 18" x 24"), post-race bagels and fruit, a tech shirt and a finisher medal are offered. Bibs are available for race-day pickup only unless mailed to members; mailed bibs require U.S. addresses and registration at least 20 days before the event. Handcycle and Wheelchair divisions are accepted. Strollers and dogs are not allowed. Time limits apply and standard no-refund, no-transfer policies are in effect.
Results, awards and pricing
Results will be emailed and posted online after the race. Overall awards go to the top three male, female and non-binary finishers by gun time. Age-group awards (by net time) are given to the top three in each listed age category from 9 and under through 70 and over. Member entry prices start at $40 and non-member prices start at $50, with later entry tiers increasing to $60/$75. Members receive a 20% discount and other member benefits.
