About the race
NYCRUNS Frozen Pigeon 5K takes place in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, offering a 5K loop through the Nethermead. The USATF-certified course finishes with a sprint up Center Drive, providing a picturesque winter backdrop. The event features a Festival Area for bib pickup, gear check (using a single clear bag), bathrooms, and on-course hydration, with post-race refreshments like bagels and fruit.
Runners receive a tech shirt, and bib distribution is in the Festival Area. Start corrals are pace-based (AA–F). Handcycle and wheelchair divisions are welcome.
