NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon
The NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon is a USATF‑certified half marathon held in Brooklyn, NY. The course follows the East River waterfront under the Williamsburg, Manhattan, and Brooklyn Bridges, continues along Fulton Street and Flatbush Avenue, passes Grand Army Plaza, and finishes at Prospect Park.
The race is electronically timed with the MYLAPS Bibtag system and includes timing split points and clocks. Hydration stations and portable restrooms are provided every 1–2 miles, and medical support is available on course. Pace teams from the Prospect Park Track Club will lead groups between 1:30 and 3:00 paces. Start waves and corrals are assigned based on the pace listed in a runner’s NYCRUNS profile.
Every entrant receives an official race shirt at the pre‑race Expo unless they select bib and shirt mailing for an additional fee. Finishers receive a collector’s finisher medal. MarathonFoto provides one complimentary race photo with options to purchase additional images. Bag check is available only at the pre‑race Expo; clear bag rules apply.
VIP packages are offered, including a Finish VIP at $250 and a Start & Finish VIP at $500, each with specified amenities. NYCRUNS membership offers a 10% entry discount and deferral rights. Handcycle and wheelchair divisions are accepted. Results and awards are published after the race, with prize money for top finishers and age group awards by standard categories.
