NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon
The NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon takes runners through a wide variety of neighborhoods in Brooklyn. The event begins in North Brooklyn along the East River waterfront, providing views of the Manhattan skyline. Participants run under the Williamsburg, Manhattan, and Brooklyn Bridges before heading onto Fulton Street and Flatbush Avenue. The route passes through Grand Army Plaza and the brownstone residential areas before concluding inside Prospect Park.
The course is half marathon distance (21.0975 km) and is USATF-certified. It features electronic timing using the MYLAPS Bibtag system, with timing points and clocks located throughout the route. The Prospect Park Track Club provides pace teams for finish times ranging from 1:30 to 3:00.

Amenities provided include water and electrolyte fluid stations every 1-2 miles along the course, as well as medical support. Every finisher receives a medal and a race shirt, which must be picked up at the pre-race Expo unless a mailing option is selected. Post-race refreshments in Prospect Park include local bagels, fresh fruit, and other snacks.
The event utilizes a wave-start system with corrals based on a runner's indicated pace. Participants have the option to form groups to start in the same wave.
