NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon : April 25, 2027
The NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon is a USATF certified half marathon held in Brooklyn, NY on April 25, 2027. The course is electronically timed using the MYLAPS Bibtag system and includes timing split points, course clocks, bathrooms, and medical support.
The route begins in North Brooklyn neighborhoods and finishes in Prospect Park, passing along the East River waterfront and under several bridges. Nine fluid stations are placed along the course, spaced roughly one to one and a half miles apart. Pace teams provided by the Prospect Park Track Club cover target times between 1 hour 30 minutes and 3 hours.
Every participant receives an official participant shirt and a finisher medal. Post race refreshments include water, electrolyte fluids, a New York State apple, and a bagel. Photos are made available by email after the race and a prepurchase option is offered at checkout. A bib and shirt mailing option is available for a fee of $35; this mailing is not available for international addresses.
Pre race Expo details include mandatory bib and shirt pickup unless mailing is selected and a bag check service for one clear bag only. Start waves and corrals are assigned based on the pace listed in a runner profile. Registration closes the day before the race or earlier if capacity is reached.
Policies note no refunds and no transfers, strollers and dogs are not allowed, earbuds that hinder awareness may lead to disqualification, and all runners must remain on pace to receive course support and an official finish time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
