NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon
The NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon is a USATF-certified half marathon held in Brooklyn, NY that regularly draws over 25,000 runners. The course passes North Brooklyn and the East River waterfront, runs under the Williamsburg, Manhattan, and Brooklyn Bridges with views of the Manhattan skyline, continues along Fulton Street and Flatbush Avenue, goes through Grand Army Plaza, and finishes in Prospect Park. The distance is 13.1 miles.
The course is electronically timed with the MYLAPS Bibtag system and includes timing split points and clocks. Hydration and restroom stations are provided every 1 to 2 miles, and medical support is available along the route. Pace teams from the Prospect Park Track Club cover paces from 1:30 to 3:00.
Race week logistics center on the pre-race Expo at Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse, 73 West Street, Greenpoint, where runners pick up bibs and shirts and may check one clear bag (18 x 24). Bib and shirt mailing is offered for a fee and is not available to international addresses. Post-race provisions include water, electrolyte fluids, fresh fruit, and a bagel.
Awards and prize money are available for top finishers with age group categories for male, female, and non-binary divisions. Additional services include VIP packages, training partnership with Runna offering a two-week trial, and volunteer opportunities that can earn a future race entry.
