NYCRUNS Big Apple Half Marathon
The event is a Half Marathon held in Central Park, New York, NY on Saturday, December 13, 2025. The course is USATF-certified and consists of two full loops of the park. The course route begins on East Drive at 103rd Street and finishes on West Drive at 102nd Street. The Festival Area and race facilities are located near the 102nd Street Crossing by the North Meadow ballfields.
Logistics, services and awards
Start corrals are pace-based and labeled AA through F. Bibs and race shirts are available on race day at the Festival Area; members may receive mailed bibs if they register early and provide a U.S. mailing address. Bag check is provided with a requirement to use one clear bag of specific size; staff may search bag contents. Portable bathrooms, on-course hydration, electrolyte fluids, and post-race refreshments including bagels and fruit are offered. Participants receive a finisher medal and an event shirt; one complimentary race photo is provided with options to purchase additional photos.
Results will be posted and emailed after the race. Awards are given to the top three male, female, and non-binary overall finishers by gun time, and to the top three in age groups by net/chip time for ages 19 and under through 80 and over. Prize money is available for top finishers and is distributed from $1,000 for first place to $100 for sixth through tenth place.
