The 14th Annual Nut Run 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for March 28, 2026 in Sahuarita, AZ. The race takes place at the Green Valley Pecan Company, 1625 E. Sahuarita Rd., and is listed as a 5K run/walk. The event is one of three races in the Pecan Orchard "Orchard Series."
Race details
Entry fee is listed as $40, increasing to $45 after February 26, 2026. The event is USATF sanctioned and will use chip timing. Preregistered participants receive a free T-shirt if registered by 3/8/26; a “50/50” T-shirt is guaranteed if registration is received by 3/9/26. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in age and gender divisions and to masters runners. Proceeds will benefit a local non-profit group.
The course runs through the pecan orchards and uses dirt private roads between orchard fields. No dogs are allowed on the course. The Green Valley Firefighters Association will provide a pancake breakfast featuring pecans from the farm. Additional information is available through the event host, Green Valley Pecan Company.
