Rancho Sahuarita Lakeside Run 2027
The Rancho Sahuarita Lakeside event on April 25, 2027 offers a community 5K run or walk and a separate 1 mile Family Fun Walk around Sahuarita Lake. The 5K is held on a flat course. The event is produced in partnership with Run Tucson and includes timed race results, a finish line video, a colorful race bib for each registrant, and post-race activities at the park.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Diamond Children’s Medical Center. Families can use a Family Play Area with entertainment before and during the event and relax in a post-race area after finishing. Organizers note that complimentary shirts are limited; late registrants may be asked to pick up a shirt after the race if supplies remain.
Packet pickup and in-person registration are scheduled for April 24 at The Running Shop in Tucson, with a special packet pickup sale on Balaga socks during that session. Registration opens in February 2027 and closes on dates in April 2027 depending on the distance category. Distances offered include:
