Nuclear Fit
Nuclear Fit is an outdoor fitness race held at Great Myles, Kelvedon Hatch in Brentwood, Essex, with the event village at the Secret Nuclear Bunker. The main format comprises six 1 km trail runs interspersed with functional workout stations, giving a total running distance of about 6 km.
Participants move between short trail laps and a series of timed workout stations. Station examples include tyre flips, farmer urn carries, plough pulls, milk churn carries, repeated throws and carries for the duck and throw station, and a high-repetition squat and lift. Several stations include specified weights and rep targets that vary by category.
The event offers multiple entry categories, including Individual, Doubles, Relay and Pro, with a children Rookies option mentioned separately. Main events list an age guideline of 16 and older. Every competitor receives chip timing with split breakdowns for each run and station. Awards and event inclusions noted are trophies for first to third male and female finishers, a finishers medal, race photos and detailed results.
Additional features include available training sessions, team and league opportunities, on-site free parking and free spectator access.
