The Classic Apple Pie 5K NSRF 2026
The Classic Apple Pie 5K is a community running and walking event taking place on September 27, 2026 at Eisenhower Park - Field 2, Parking Lot 2, East Meadow, NY 11554. The event is scheduled to run rain or shine and includes both in person and virtual participation options.
Distances and race types:
- 5K run/walk in person
- Virtual 5K with time and photo upload window September 27 to October 4
- Free Kiddie Dash
Event provisions include on-site hydration at the finish, bathrooms within a few minutes walk from the start and finish, and an informal bag check area in the staging zone. Every participant receives a mini apple pie and a classic apple T-shirt option is available. Food and beverage offerings are provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water.
Recognition is given online for top finishers by gender designation F, M, and X, with age-group announcements spanning 14 and under through 90 plus. Bib mailing is offered for an additional fee if registration occurs at least ten days before the race; in-person bib pickup is also available. Registration fees are non-refundable. A portion of event proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports athletic and charitable activities.
