NSRF The Classic Apple Pie 5K : September 27, 2026
The Classic Apple Pie 5K is an in-person community 5K run/walk held at Eisenhower Park - Field 2, Parking Lot 2, East Meadow, NY 11554 on September 27, 2026. The event also offers a virtual 5K option with participants able to log times and upload photos between September 27 and October 4, 2026.
Registration choices include in-person entry and a virtual entry; participants can request bib mailing for a fee if they register in advance. Registration fees are non-refundable. Purchase protection is offered as an optional service for an additional fee.
Participants receive a mini apple pie, and a classic apple T-shirt is available. Amenities listed for the event include an informal bag check area, bathrooms within a few minutes walk of the start and finish area, hydration at the finish, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Results are available live online and via email or text, and same-day finish line photos are offered.
Age-group recognition is announced for top finishers, with overall winners receiving a pie and top finishers recognized across defined age categories. Donations and event proceeds benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports local athletic and charitable programs.
