The Classic Apple Pie 5K
The Classic Apple Pie 5K takes place on September 27, 2026 at Eisenhower Park Field 2 in East Meadow, New York. The event includes an in-person 5K run or walk and a virtual 5K option. A free Kiddie Dash is offered for children shortly before the main event.

Participants receive event gear that includes a classic apple T-shirt option and a mini apple pie. Hydration is provided at the finish area and high quality refreshments are available from event sponsors. Bathrooms are located within a few minutes walk from the start and finish. An informal bag check area will be available in the staging area; organizers do not assume responsibility for personal items.
Registration offers both in-person and virtual choices and may include add-ons such as bib mailing for an additional fee. Registration fees are non refundable. A portion of event proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports athletic and charitable programs. Age group recognition is announced for multiple age brackets, and the overall top finishers in each gender category receive a pie. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
