The Classic Apple Pie 5K
The Classic Apple Pie 5K is a community 5K run/walk held on September 27, 2026 at Eisenhower Park - Field 2, Parking Lot 2 in East Meadow, NY (1899 Hempstead Turnpike, 11554). The event is scheduled rain or shine and includes an in-person race and a virtual option that allows participants to log times and upload photos from September 27 through October 4.
Event amenities include on-site hydration at the finish, bathrooms a short walk from the start and finish, an informal bag check area in the staging zone, and post-race refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. All participants receive a mini apple pie and a classic apple T-shirt option is available.
Registration is offered for in-person and virtual 5K entries. A bib mailing option is available for an additional fee if requested at least 10 days before the race. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable; entrants must agree to the event terms and waivers.
Age group recognition is provided online with top finishers announced by gender and non-binary categories across standard age groups. A portion of event proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports athletic and charitable events, youth and special needs programs, and athlete development.
