NSRF The Classic Apple Pie 5K
The Classic Apple Pie 5K is scheduled for September 27, 2026, at Eisenhower Park - Field 2, Parking Lot 2 in East Meadow, NY. The event offers both an in person 5K run/walk and a virtual 5K option. A free kiddie dash is held before the main event. Registration includes options for race entry and optional bib mailing for an additional fee.
Amenities at the event include on-site hydration at the finish area, high quality refreshments provided by event partners, and bathrooms within a few minutes walk of the start and finish. There is an informal bag check area in the staging area. Every participant receives a mini apple pie and classic apple T shirt options are offered.
Virtual participants may log times and upload photos during a set window following the event date. Bib mailing is available for an added fee if requested in advance. Age group recognition is provided with top overall and age group placements announced across multiple categories. A portion of event proceeds and 100% of designated donations benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports athletic and charitable events and youth and special needs programs. Registration fees are non refundable and are applied to race expenses. Live online results, same day finish line photos, and video are available for participants.
