NSRF Summer Miles Challenge
The NSRF Summer Miles Challenge runs from June 21 through Sept 22. Participants set a distance goal for the summer and log running or biking mileage over the challenge period. Options include preset targets or a self-chosen goal.
- 200 miles Run/Walk
- 1000 miles Bike
- Set your own distance goal
All registration options include a keepsake bib, an ultra soft tank, and a finisher medal. Entries registered by June 30 will have the registrant name printed on the back of the tank. Sizes are guaranteed through July 3. Keepsake bibs begin shipping June 12; all items ship at once after starting June 18 and swag shipping begins July 31. Shipping outside the United States has a listed fee and may be higher.
Miles counted must be intentionally run or walked from point A to point B; daily step totals do not count. Acceptable tracking methods noted for the event include laps on a track, treadmill or Peloton sessions, certified course measurements, mapped routes, Strava or other recording apps, and smart watch recordings. Participants may backlog or backdate miles when permitted by the event process.
Teams are scored as total miles for teams of two or more and average miles for teams of four or more. Team changes end July 7 at 10 AM. If a team reaches ten members and designates a verified nonprofit, seven dollars per team member is donated to that nonprofit.
Registration fees are non-refundable and are applied to event expenses. Net proceeds benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
