Never Stop Running Foundation LI Trail Lemonade 5K
The Never Stop Running Foundation LI Trail Lemonade 5K is an off-road running and walking event held at Blydenburgh County Park in Smithtown, New York. The course consists of a mixture of pavement, dirt roads, and hard-packed trails suitable for vehicles. Participants can choose between two main formats:
- 5K Trail Run/Walk: An in-person trail event through the park.
- Virtual 5K: A remote option where participants can upload their times and photos between May 23 and May 31.
A free Kiddie Dash is also available for younger participants and does not require formal registration. The event features professional timing with live online results, email and text notifications, and same-day finish line photographs and video.
Amenities at the venue include an informal bag check area in the staging section and bathroom facilities located within a short walk of the start and finish lines. Hydration is provided at the finish line, along with snacks from event partners. Participants who register at least three weeks in advance receive their name printed on their bib.
Primary parking is located at Picnic Areas 1-5 within Blydenburgh County Park. Secondary parking is available at the Boat Launch, with additional options at the park entrance or the nearby dog park. 100% of additional donations made during registration benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting athletic and charitable events.
