NSRF Leftover Turkey Trot 5K - 2026
The Leftover Turkey Trail Trot is a community 5K trail run and walk held at Bethpage State Park on November 28, 2026. The event offers both an in-person trail 5K and a virtual 5K option that may be completed between November 28 and December 6, 2026. A free kiddie fun run is included for younger participants, and those children receive a finisher ribbon.
Race facilities are staged at Bethpage Polo at the Park with parking at the Bethpage State Park Playground. The course area is described as Massapequas Lands in Old Bethpage. Informal bag check is available in the staging area, bathrooms are a short walk from the start and finish, and hydration is provided at the finish line. Postrace refreshments are supplied by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Event shirts are available and various race swag items are mentioned.
Participants can choose to have their bib mailed for an additional fee if registration deadlines are met. Registration fees are non refundable. Donation proceeds are directed to the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports athletic and charitable events, youth and special needs programs, and athlete development. Age group recognition is provided for top finishers across multiple age brackets and gender categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
