Hot Cocoa Crush 5K Eisenhower Park
The Hot Cocoa Crush 5K is a February road running event held at Eisenhower Park, Field 2, Parking Lot 2 in East Meadow, NY 11554. The event includes a free Kids Dash held prior to the 5K and a certified course through the Merrick Lands area of Eisenhower Park.
Amenities listed for the event include an informal bag check area, restrooms within a few minutes walk from the start and finish area, and hydration provided at the finish line. Post-race refreshments and treats are provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water, and event shirts are available.
A virtual participation option is offered; virtual entrants have from the first day of the event and a full week to log a time and submit up to five photos. Bib mailing is available for a fee of $10 when registered at least 10 days in advance. Guidance is provided for bib placement to ensure accurate results.
Age group online recognition is awarded to the top overall male, female, and nonbinary participants and to top finishers by age group in the following brackets: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90 plus.
