NSRF Comic Run 5K - Eisenhower Park, May 9, 2026
The Never Stop Running Foundation Comic Run 5K is scheduled for May 9, 2026 at Eisenhower Park - Field 2 in East Meadow, NY. The event features a USATF certified 5K course that uses bike paths in Eisenhower Park and the Merrick Lands. A free kiddie dash is included and a virtual 5K option is available with a participation window from May 9 to May 17.
Finishers receive a shirt and a finisher medal. Onsite amenities include an informal bag check area, bathrooms within a few minutes' walk of the start and finish, hydration at the finish line, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Bib mailing is offered for an additional fee when registration occurs at least 10 days before the event; in-person bibs are distributed onsite by event staff prior to the start.
Registration options list in-person and virtual entries and show prices that include processing fees; virtual entries and add-ons such as mailed bibs are available. Age-group online recognition is posted for top finishers with overall and multiple age categories; there are no additional award medals beyond the finisher medals. Live online results and same-day finish-line photos are provided for participants. Donations are directed to the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that supports youth and special needs running events and athlete development.
