Brooklyn St. Patrick's 5K, 10K & Half Marathon
Brooklyn St. Patrick's offers three distance options on a boardwalk course at Veterans Memorial Pier in Brooklyn. The event date is March 15, 2026. Registration is not yet open and will open ahead of the event date.
Distances:
- 5K one loop out and back along the shore
- 10K two loops out and back along the shore
- Half Marathon four loops with two U Turn checkpoints per loop
The course runs along the shore with views of the Verrazzano Bridge. Wheelchair participants are welcome, though several tight 180 degree turns may make this course less suited to wheelchair racers. Half marathon runners have specific hydration stations at the U Turn nearest the start and finish and at the start and finish area. Half marathoners must pass both turnaround checkpoints each loop for accurate split and finish times. A 2 hour 45 minute cutoff applies to the half marathon.
Amenities include an informal bag check area, nearby bathrooms, hydration at the finish, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Bib pickup is available in person from event staff, or a bib may be mailed for a $10 fee if registration occurs at least ten days before the race. Virtual entries can log time and up to five photos during the event week and will receive mailed items as described. Results are posted live online with same day finish line photos and video.
A portion of proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports athletic and charitable events and athlete development. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
