Brooklyn St. Patrick's 5K, 10K & Half Marathon
The event offers three distances: participants can choose 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon on a boardwalk out and back course along the shore near Veterans Memorial Pier in Brooklyn. The route provides views of the Verrazzano Bridge and uses looped segments with U-turns.
- 5K: one loop out and back along the shore.
- 10K: two loops out and back along the shore.
- Half Marathon: four loops with two U-turns; runners must pass both turnaround checkpoints each loop for accurate split and finish times.
Wheelchair participants are welcome, but the course includes several tight 180 degree turns that may make it less suitable for wheelchair racers. There will be a water station at the U-turn closest to the start and finish and at the start and finish for Half Marathoners only. Hydration is provided at the finish for other distances.
Onsite amenities include an informal bag check area, bathrooms within a few minutes walk of the start and finish, high quality refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water, a race tee, and a finisher medal. Registration includes an option to receive a mailed bib for an additional fee if registered in advance; in-person pickup is available at the event. Live online, email, and text results are provided along with same-day finish line photos and free video. A virtual participation option allows logging time and photos during the event window and ships event items. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
