Event information
The Inflatable 5K obstacle course event takes place on Saturday 17th October 2026 at the Royal Norfolk Showground, Dereham Rd, New Costessey, Norwich NR5 0TT. Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 2.5km
- 5km
- 10km
- 15km
The course layout is based on a 2.5 km lap. Distances correspond to laps and obstacle counts: 1 lap = 15 obstacles (2.5k), 2 laps = 30 obstacles (5k), 4 laps = 60 obstacles (10k) and 6 laps = 90 obstacles (15k).
Course and obstacles
Each lap repeats the same inflatable obstacles. The event lists named obstacles such as Start Mountain, The Crawler, The Holes, Holy Moly, Duck N Dive, Viper, The Vortex, The Growler, Swing Shot, Beast, Crash Bang, The Mangle, The Slapper, Temple of Doom, The Web, The Demon and The Boss. The course includes five music zones and water is provided at a station midway along the route.
Entry, age rules and onsite services
Adults are classed as 16+; children aged 5 to 15 must be accompanied by a paying participating adult with a maximum ratio of three children to one adult. Parking is charged at £5 per car and bag drop is £3 per bag. Toilets and food and drink vendors are available on site. Dogs are not permitted. E-tickets should be presented (print or screenshot) when collecting bibs. Volunteer places include one free run entry, a T-shirt and a tote bag. Group, family and charity discounts are offered.
