Northfield Connolly Memorial Mile
The Connolly Memorial Mile is a chip timed, one mile running event held in Northfield, New Jersey on July 4, 2026. The race starts and finishes at the Municipal Building for the City of Northfield and uses an out and back course. Timing and instant results are provided by JB Sports Timing.
Pre-registration opens in mid May and closes in early July. The pre-registration fee is $10 and includes a shirt while supplies last. Race day registration is available at a higher fee of $25 and all sign-up must be completed online; there will be no paper registration on race day. Packet pickup and sign-up are offered the day before the race at the Northfield City Hall parking lot, and bib pickup and sign-up are located inside the fire house on race day.
Prizes are awarded to the first overall male and female finishers and to the first male and female masters, with masters grouped as junior 39 and under and senior 40 and over. Additional age group medals are given for first through third place per gender in these divisions: 7 and under, 8 to 10, 11 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus. Participants registering a child who will be in a stroller are asked not to place a bib on the child. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
