Frank Connolly Memorial Mile Run
The Frank Connolly Memorial Mile is a running event held in Northfield, New Jersey. The race takes place on July 4th and consists of a 1 mile run. The route is designed as an out and back course, beginning and ending at the Municipal Building for the City of Northfield.
Participants are chip timed with results provided immediately following the completion of the distance. Online registration is required for all entrants, as no paper registration forms are accepted on the day of the event. Pre-registered participants receive a shirt while supplies are available. Packet pickup and sign-up opportunities are available the day before the race at the Northfield City Hall parking lot, as well as on the morning of the event at the local fire house.
The event includes several award categories based on gender and age. Recognition is given to the first overall male and female winners, as well as the top male and female finishers in the junior and senior master categories. Age group medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each gender across various brackets:

The age brackets range from 7 and under to 70 and over. Parents participating with children in strollers are permitted, though strollers do not require a separate race number. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
