North Sun Ultra 2026 : Edmonton
North Sun Ultra is scheduled for June 13, 2026, and is based in the Edmonton River Valley with a venue at Emily Murphy Park. The main course runs on single track trails, moving from the east side trails in Goldbar, across to Terwillegar, and returning to a finish line located in downtown Edmonton.
The event lists multiple distances:
- 50 km on single track through city trails.
- 30 km on comparable trail sections.
The race emphasizes exploring Edmonton's network of single track trails and also functions as a fundraiser for local charities. The event continues support for the Edmonton Mountain Bike Alliance, a registered non-profit focused on mountain biking in the Greater Edmonton area.
Transfer and refund policies are stated: 50% refunds are available up until May 30, 2025. After that date no refunds are offered. Entrants may move down in distance until June 7; moving up in distance is not allowed. Entries cannot be transferred to another runner.
