Canada Day Edmonton 2026
The event is scheduled for July 1, 2026 at the Legislature Grounds, Legislature Building Road Northwest, Edmonton, AB, Canada. It includes multiple start waves to accommodate the different distances offered.
Distances offered:
- 15 km run and walk
- 5 km run or walk
- 2.5 km Family Fun Event, minimum 2 and maximum 4 family members
- Virtual option with entries shipped to participants
Participants in the 15 km, 5 km and virtual events receive a Canada Day Hat and a finishers medal. 2.5 km participants receive a commemorative finishers medal. Virtual entries are shipped directly to homes; in‑store pick-up is not available.
Registration fees are shown in Canadian dollars; taxes and processing fees are displayed at checkout. Registration is limited to Canadian residents; overseas applicants are not accepted.
The event supports Wellspring Alberta. Wellspring Alberta provides no-cost programs, resources and supports for people living with cancer and their families. In 2022 the Calgary and Edmonton centres were unified to offer provincial services across Alberta.
