Canada Day Edmonton 2026

The Canada Day Edmonton event will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. The start and finish location is at the Legislature Grounds on Legislature Building Road Northwest in Edmonton, Alberta.

Several distances are offered:

15 km (run and walk)
5 km (fun run/walk)
2.5 km (family fun event, for groups of 2 to 4 members)
A virtual option is also available.

Participants in the 15 km, 5 km, and virtual events will receive a Canada Day hat and a finisher's medal. Participants in the 2.5 km event will receive a commemorative finisher's medal.

The event supports the charity Valour Place, which provides accommodation and support for Canadian Forces members, veterans, first responders, and their families during medical treatment.
