Run for Reconciliation
The Run for Reconciliation is an annual event aimed at raising awareness about the impact of Residential Schools on Indigenous communities. Participants can join a run or walk starting at Lions Park and concluding at the St. Albert Healing Garden, where they can reflect on the experiences of survivors and their families.
Attendees will receive an orange ribbon to symbolize their support, which can be tied at the Healing Garden. The event features Indigenous dancers, drummers, and guest speakers, fostering community engagement and personal reflection on reconciliation. Proceeds support local Indigenous charities, emphasizing the importance of collective healing and awareness. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
