North Star Ultra
The North Star Ultra is a multi-leg trail event held from Saturday 13th to Sunday 14th June 2026. The course covers a total of 170 miles divided into five out-and-back legs named North, East, South East, South West and West. Competitors may enter as solo runners, pairs or quads.
Participants may complete the East, South East, South West and West legs in any order, but the North leg must be completed last. Each leg starts from Kielder Castle. All legs have a turnaround location with a dedicated indoor area and support team except the North leg, which takes place outdoors for its entirety.
Competitors are tracked throughout the course and support teams are on standby to assist if needed. The event specifies a minimum age of 18 on the event date. Entries open on 16 December 2025 and close on 9 June 2026. Entry options and fees listed include Solo £150.00, Pair £180.00 and Quad £240.00, plus a 6% booking fee.
