North Star Ultra

The North Star Ultra is a running event taking place from Saturday, June 13 to Sunday, June 14, 2026. It is organized by Cold Brew Events. All legs of the race begin from Kielder Castle.

Participants must complete six legs totaling approximately 200 miles of trail. The course consists of five point-to-point routes named for the directions: North, East, South East, South West, and West. The North leg must be completed first and last. Participants can choose the order for the middle four legs. Each leg is an out-and-back route with a dedicated indoor location and support team at the turnaround point, except for the outdoor North leg.

The event can be completed solo, as a pair, or as a quad team. Runners will be tracked throughout the event, with support teams on standby to assist if needed. The start time is 8:00 AM on Saturday, with a finish deadline of 8:00 PM on Sunday. Rankings are based on the furthest distance completed.

Entry fees are per team: £150.00 for Solo, £180.00 for Pair, and £240.00 for Quad, plus a 6% booking fee. The minimum age to enter is 18. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
