North Shore Turkey Trot 5K
The North Shore Turkey Trot 5K is a community run and walk held on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, at the North Shore Community Youth Organization in Glen Head, New York. The event is open to runners, joggers, and walkers and includes a separate kids fun run for younger participants.

Registration fees vary by date and include a processing fee. Example listed prices for the 5K are $28.63 (early), $33.80 (October 25), and $38.98 (November 23). The kids fun run registration is shown as $13.10. Registrants who register three weeks in advance can have their name printed on a personalized bib. Race commemorative gifts are provided to pre-registered runners and day-of entrants while supplies last.
The event lists post-race refreshments and music and mentions live online, email, or text results plus free video and same-day finish line photos. Awards are given to the top overall male and female and to the top three male and female finishers in age groups (14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).
