North Shore Turkey Trot 5K
The North Shore Turkey Trot 5K is scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, at the North Shore Community Youth Organization in Glen Head, NY. The event offers running, jogging, and walking options and includes a separate kids fun run.

- Kids 1/2 Mile Fun Run (approximately 1/2 mile, for kids 12 and under)
Registration fees vary by date and include processing fees. Base registration options shown are a 5K Run/Walk and a Kids Fun Run. All fees are non refundable and participants must agree to the event terms and release. A personalized bib is available for registrants who sign up three weeks in advance; bib lookup and self lookup tools are provided and last minute registrants can receive their bib number by text rapidly.
Event amenities noted include a race commemorative gift for pre registered participants and for day of entries while supplies last, post race refreshments and music, and family friendly activities. Awards are listed for top overall male and female and top three male and female in multiple age groups, with ribbons for all kids run participants. Teams may be created or joined.
