About the race
North Lakes Half Marathon & 10KM, staged by Wild Deer Events with Timing Up North, is a road-running event in the Lorton Valley near Cockermouth, in the Lake District. It offers two distances: a Half Marathon (13.1 miles) and a 10K (6.2 miles), with routes described as fastish and largely on quiet country lanes that showcase epic views across the Lakes. Starts and finishes are near Cockermouth Town Centre, and all finishers receive a medal along with merchandise, snacks, and a drink.
