North Lakes Half Marathon & 10km
The North Lakes Half Marathon & 10km is a road running event organised by Wild Deer Events, held in and around Cockermouth with routes through the Lorton Valley and views across the Lake District. Routes start and finish near Cockermouth Town Centre and follow quiet country lanes.

Live chip-timing is provided by Timing Up North. There is no cut-off time for either distance. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise and a snack and drink. An event T-shirt is available to purchase for £12.
Parking is available in Cockermouth Town Centre within walking distance of the start. There is an accommodation option at Graysonside Guest House; guests may also park there for the event.
The event supports Blood Bikes Cumbria, a volunteer service that provides out-of-hours medical courier assistance for urgently needed blood products, samples, breast milk and other medical items. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
